Am 02.09.2005 hat unsere Cleopatra Zwillinge geboren. Die beiden kleinen Jungs sind richtige kleine Wonneproppen: Bei der Geburt wogen Sie schon 136g (Crispin) und 124g (Cariño) und nehmen seitdem kräftig zu. Für Cleopatra wird die Aufzucht diesmal sicher viel einfacher werden. In einer Nacht hat sich Amaryllis ins Nest geschlichen und heimlich mitgetrunken. Die ersten drei Wochen werden die Babys bei uns im Schlafzimmer verbringen, bevor sie in den Laufstall umziehen und Gegenstände wie Kratzbaum und Katzenklo kennen lernen.
Diesmal war Cleo auch nicht auf Ginnys Hilfe angewiesen. Dennoch war Ginny am ersten Tag zur Stelle und säugte die Kleinen. Ihre Babys, die Großen von Cleo und Melissa freuen sich, gelegentlich noch ein Schlückchen von Ginnys Milch zu bekommen, obwohl sie es eigentlich schon lange nicht mehr nötig haben.

El nacimiento de mí camada C

El 02 de septiembre de 2005 nuestra Cleopatra parió gemelos. Los dos gatitos pequeños son gorditos deliciosos: En el nacimiento ya pesaban 136g (Crispin) y 124g (Cariño) y desde entonces engordan bien. Para Cleopatra seguramente esta crianza va a ser muy fácil. Una vez durante la noche Amaryllis se ha colado en el nido y ha bebido con los pequeños en secreto. Las tres primeras semanas los bebes van a pasar con nosotros en el dormitorio antes de mudarse al parque de gatitos y conocer cosas como el árbol de gatos y servicio de gatos.
Esta vez Cleo no se ha podido prescindir de la ayuda de Ginny: Sin embargo Ginny estaba presente y amamantaba los pequeños. De vez en cuando los bebes de Ginny, los grandes de Cleo y Melissa se alegren de recibir un trago de la leche de Ginny, aunque últimamente a ellos no les hace falta.

On 02nd of september 2005 our Cleopatra got twins. Both little boys are sweetie-pies: In birth they had a weight of 136g (Crispin) and 124g (Cariño) and since then they gain weight very well. For Cleopatra this rearing surely will be much easier. One night Amaryllis crept into the nest and drunk secretly at Cleo’s teat. For the first three weeks the kitten will stay in our sleeping room, before they move into the play-pen and learn about scratching post and cat litter pan.
This time Cleo did not need Ginny’s help. Nevertheless Ginny was present and helped Cleopatra suckling the newborns. Her babies the elder ones from Cleo and Melissa look forward to get a little gulp occationally, although they do not need mother’s milk any more since some weeks.
