Unser erster Nachwuchs ist geboren

Am Vormittag des 03.05.2005 um kurz nach 10 Uhr begann die Geburt bei unserer kleinen Cleopatra. Innerhalb von einer Stunde brachte sie vier niedliche Babys zur Welt. Zunächst war sie mit der Situation etwas überfordert. Zum Glück war jedoch Ginny zur Stelle und half hingebungsvoll. Sie schleckte die Babies trocken und da sie selbst kurz vor der Geburt stand, schoss bei ihr die Milch schnell ein und sie ließ die vier Kleinen bei sich trinken.

Am folgenden Tag, Nachmittags gegen 16 Uhr setzten bei Ginny die Geburtswehen ein. Unglücklicherweise kamen in den nächsten zwei Stunden nur zwei Babys zur Welt und darauf passierte nichts mehr. Wir vereinbarten einen Termin mit unserer Tierärztin, die in den frühen Morgenstunden aufgrund der schwierigen Situation per Kaiserschnitt den übrigen drei Kindern von Ginny auf die Welt half.

Schon während Ginny bei der Tierärztin war, kümmerte sich Cleopatra rührend um Ginnys Babys.

Inzwischen geht es allen Babys gut und die beiden Mütter kümmern sich gemeinsam um die Kinder. Ginny erholt sich langsam von der Operation und säugt sogar bereits einige der Babys.

Nuestra primera descendencia nacío

A la mañana del 03 de mayo de 2005 poco después de las diez el parto de nuestra Cleopatra pequeña empezó. En el transcurso de una hora daba a luz a cuatro gatitos monos. Al principio estaba exigido demasiado con la situación. Por suerte Ginny estaba presente y le ayudaba con abnegación a ella. Ginny lamió los gatitos hasta estaban secos, y como también esperaba el nacimiento de sus bebes, su leche empezaba fluir y ella dejaba beber los pequeños.

El día siguiente hacia las cuatro de la tarde las contracciones de Ginny empezaban. Desgraciadamente solo dos gatitos venían al mundo durante las proximas dos horas y después pasaba nada. Fijabamos una hora con la veterenaria, que les ayudaba al mundo a tres más gatitos, por la mañana muy temprano con cesárea.

Ya durante Ginny estaba en la consulta de la veterenaria, Cleo se ocupaba emocionante de los gatitos de Ginny. Mientras tanto todos los gatitos estan muy bien y las madres juntas se ocupan de ellos. Poco a poco Ginny se restablece de la operación y ya amamanta unos gatitos.

Our first Offspring is born

In the forenoon of 3rd of may 2005, a few minutes past 10 o’clock our little Cleopatra’s birth started. Within one hour she delivered four twee babies. At first she was a little overextended with this new situation. But fortunately Ginny was on the spot and helped her devotedly. She dryed the kitten and because she was a few hours before her own delivery, her breast-milk started flowing, when the babies sucked at her and she let them drink.

The following day in the afternoon at about 4 o’clock the contractions started in Ginny. Unfortunately just two babies were born during the next two hours and than nothing happened for the rest of the evening. We made an appointment with our vet, who helped the other three babies to be born in the small hours of the next day by Cesarean because of the difficult situation.

While Ginny was at the vet’s surgery, Cleopatra already movingly took care of Ginny’s babies, which we had to leave at home. Meanwhile all babies are well and the two mothers take care of all of them together. Ginny slowly recuperates from her surgery and even suckles some of them.
